Lahore:
The Lahore High Court (LHC) has summoned the lawyer of Hamza Shahbaz for arguments on the petitions filed against the swearing in of the Punjab Chief Minister. Read the letter written to the President.
The Lahore High Court inquired under which law the Secretary Punjab Assembly had sent the report to the Governor. You allowed him to read the entire post of the Governor. Apparently from the letter it seems that the governor is giving instructions to the president because the governor wrote in the letter that I have decided that the rest of the president should tell what to do.
The court said that in the shadow of immunity, the extent to which the order of the constitution can be ignored, it is not possible that no one acts on the constitution and the court remained silent, thus the country can not run, the basis of our constitution. The structure is based on the division of powers, no part can interfere in the power of another.
The court raised the question of whether an election is not in accordance with the law, whether the Speaker is bound to take oath as Governor or not. As if no election has taken place but the governor should be informed that if it is done then what will the governor do?
The court summoned Hamza Shahbaz’s lawyer for arguments yesterday while seeking a reply from the President and the Governor through the Principal Secretary.
