Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid while expressing concern over the increasing number of corona patients in Punjab said that the number of corona patients is increasing in the fourth wave. Most of the people affected by corona are those who have not been vaccinated The corona rate is 6%.
He said in a press conference that 24 people have died, 731 patients have been admitted in Lahore, at present 72% are on ventilators. Dr. Yasmeen Rashid said that the rate of corona in Punjab is 6%, Rawalpindi Institute of Corona At Urology, 3,800 patients have been treated, most of them infected with corona who have not been vaccinated.
He said that vaccination is the only treatment to get rid of the epidemic, 3% of people in Rawalpindi are more affected, 85% of the 220 patients undergoing treatment in Rawalpindi are non-vaccinated and 7% are patients who have been given a single dose.
Yasmeen Rashid said that 5 to 6 lakh people are being vaccinated every day, so far 287.89 million people have been vaccinated, 70% of the population has been vaccinated by December, there is no problem.
Yasmeen Rashid said that mobile teams have vaccinated 280,000 people in their homes. Rescue 1122 is in touch with the control room in Lahore. Anyone can be admitted to any hospital by calling Rescue 1122.
