Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day said that introduction of new media technologies is also our agenda, the government of Pakistan is striving to promote independent and responsible journalism. This year will bring new projects for journalists, especially young journalists.
In a message on social networking site Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry paid tribute to the journalists who died in the line of duty on World Press Freedom Day and said, “I pay tribute to the martyrs of the journalism department.” ۔
He further said that the martyrs of journalism sacrificed their lives to maintain the truth and dignity of this great profession. Fawad Chaudhry said that he also paid tribute to the efforts of the journalists who spread awareness about Kovid 19. Conducting regular campaigns to prevent epidemics, SOPs and safety measures.
Fawad Chaudhry in his statement released on social media said that telling the truth is the most difficult task in history, journalists all over the world have done their duty to tell the truth by playing with their lives, Occupied Kashmir, Palestine and other areas.
