ISLAMABAD: The district administration has refused to allow the government and opposition to hold a rally in Red Zone.
According to sources, the PTI had applied for permission to hold a rally on March 27 at Kodi Chowk in the federal capital while the opposition has also applied for a rally at the same place but the district administration has refused to allow the two to hold a rally.
According to sources, the district administration has given the government the option of holding a rally in Parade Ground and the opposition in H9. Yes, more people coming to the red zone will cause security problems.
The administration has directed the opposition and the government to be informed after the selection of the venue of the meeting. PTI requested the deputy commissioner to hold a rally at the parade ground on which the district administration directed security arrangements.
