ISLAMABAD: Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry says that the government has gone mad over the issue of PTI funding.
While giving a press conference in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry said that there are total 13 accounts in which a total of Rs. 2 crore has been transfered to our members.
Fawad Chaudhry said that I have already told that an international account has been opened and all the funding has come into it, these 13 accounts have also been declared and we have provided the details of each one. The Supreme Court ordered the Election Commission to jointly decide on the accounts of all the parties, the funding audit which is legally required to be done every year, how the money was collected and spent.
He revealed that during the 2013 election, 20 to 25 lakh rupees were sent to our leaders.
Fawad Chaudhry raised the question that 4 employees of Tehreek-e-Insaaf have been summoned by FIA, in what capacity FIA is issuing these notices, it is expected that we will appear in FIA and they will also appear, the court. He said that if he wants to cooperate with FIA, he will do so.
He said that Rana Sahib is only the SHO of Kohsar police station, that’s all, Rana Sahib did not go to Faisalabad because he took precautions.
Fawad Chaudhry said that we have decided to form a joint investigation team and investigate them regarding the May 25 cases, we hope that Rana Sanaullah and others will not hide.
The PTI leader alleged that the Election Commission is not only biased but it is mixed, the Election Commission has now become a subsidiary of the PDM.
Earlier in his tweet, Fawad Chaudhry used harsh words for Interior Minister Rana Sana and said that Rana Sahib! Talk according to your timings, you are the SHO of Kohsar police station, you have no more status than that, lest you have to give and take.
Fawad Chaudhry further said that you are so brave that you have not gone to Faisalabad since the government changed, however caution is a good thing.
