LAHORE: The government alliance has decided to file a petition for a full court hearing in the case of the ruling of the Deputy Speaker of the Provincial Assembly on the issue of the election of the Chief Minister of Punjab.
According to private TV, the decision to file a petition on the interim decision of the Supreme Court on the election of the Chief Minister of Punjab was made in a meeting of the parties involved in the government alliance, which will be announced by the government alliance and PDM leaders in a joint press conference tomorrow morning. From where the government allies and PDM leaders will go to the Supreme Court together with lawyers.
It has been reported that the leadership of Muslim League (N), PPP, JUI (F) will go to the Supreme Court and request a full court in the petition filed on this matter and a hearing with the relevant applications including the Supreme Court bar. will be done, other allies including MQM, ANP, BNP and BAP in the government coalition will also become applicants.
On the other hand, 5 former presidents of the Supreme Court Bar Association have jointly demanded from the Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial that the full court hears the request for revision of the election of the Chief Minister of Punjab and the interpretation of Article 63 A. A joint statement has been issued by Muhammad Yasin Azad, Fazl Haq Abbasi, Kamran Murtaza and Syed Gulb Hasan, demanding that the full court hear the petition for review of the election of the Chief Minister of Punjab and the interpretation of Article 63A. The revision petition should be sent to the full court and the most important constitutional cases should be decided together after hearing all the parties.
