The Palestinians returned home after 11 days of bloody war and Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip to face the shock of the destruction of everything.
The Palestinians, who celebrated in the streets on Saturday and Friday and were happy with the ceasefire mediated by Egypt, soon surrendered in despair to their compatriots in the Gaza Strip.
