According to details, senior PML-N central leader and former president Mamnoon Hussain has passed away due to illness. Mamnoon Hussain’s son Arsalan Mamnoon has confirmed his death. Mamnoon Hussain has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Karachi for the past two weeks.

PML-N central leader and former president Mamnoon Hussain was born in Agra, India in 1940, but his family moved to Karachi after emigrating in 1449. Mamnoon Hussain graduated from Karachi University in 1963 with a degree in Commerce. After graduation in 1965, he obtained a Master’s degree from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.
He started taking interest in politics in 1968 and joined PML-N as a worker in 1970. When PML-N was formed, he joined PML-N and remained in the post of Finance Secretary. Mamnoon Hussain served as the 12th President of the PML-N from 2013 to 2018. He was also the first Governor of Sindh in 1999. But a few months later, he was removed due to martial law.
