Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has strongly condemned the terrorist incidents in Quetta and Turbat and said that the enemy had tried unsuccessfully to disrupt peace in Balochistan and the entire nation was with the security forces in the fight against terrorism. ۔
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and speedy recovery of the injured in the terrorist incidents. The Foreign Minister said that the enemy had tried unsuccessfully to disrupt the peace in Balochistan.
He said that tributes were paid to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the protection of the homeland. He said that the nation stood by its security forces in the war against terrorism.
It may be mentioned that 3 FC personnel were martyred and 5 injured in two separate incidents of terrorism in Balochistan. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), terrorist operations were carried out in Quetta and Turbat.
According to ISPR, terrorists opened fire on FC personnel on security duty in Quetta. Three FC personnel were martyred and one injured in an exchange of fire with the terrorists. The martyred officers include Lance Naik Syed Hussain Shah, Cop Faisal Mahmood and Cop Noman-ur-Rehman.
According to ISPR, the second incident of terrorism took place at the Pak-Iran border in Turbat where terrorists opened fire on FC personnel on patrol duty, injuring four personnel.
