KARACHI: The dollar continued to soar on Tuesday, once again hitting a new high of Rs 197 in the history of the country.
On the second day of the business week, the dollar’s interbank value rose further by Rs 2.81 paise to Rs 196.99.
Similarly, in the open market, the dollar rose by 1 rupee 50 paise and reached a new high of 198.
A day earlier, the dollar had gained 66 paise in the interbank market on Monday, while the dollar had closed at 194.18 paise on the close of business.

Experts said that the country’s foreign exchange reserves have also come down to the lowest level in 22 months. Which led to the appreciation of the dollar.
It should be noted that due to the political crisis in the country, the value of the dollar is increasing rapidly.
