Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has arrived in New York to attend the UN General Assembly. He will attend the 76th session of the UN General Assembly. During his visit, Shah Mehmood Qureshi will hold meetings with various foreign ministers and the UN leadership.
According to details, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrived in New York on a five-day visit, where he will attend the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, while Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the General Assembly in video.
During the visit, Shah Mehmood Qureshi will also hold meetings in New York with various foreign ministers and the leadership of the United Nations, while participating in various forums, including the Council on Foreign Relations, as well as speaking at the event.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi will meet the Pakistani American community in New York as well as talk to local and international media representatives, in which Pakistan’s views on various regional and global issues will be shared.
It may be recalled that as soon as Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrived in New York, he said in a statement on social networking site Twitter that the Prime Minister would address the General Assembly session on a policy link. There will be meetings with foreign ministers of different countries.
