Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi has postponed his decision to resign. He has said that he will resign after the permission of the party leadership. Earlier, he had announced his resignation from the Sindh Assembly in protest. ۔
According to media sources, Firdous Shamim Naqvi has announced not to submit his resignation to the Speaker of the Sindh Assembly today. He has said that he will resign after the permission of the party leadership, so he will not submit his resignation to the Speaker today. No permission has been received from the party leadership yet. I will resign when the party leadership gives permission.
It may be recalled that PTI leader Firdous Shamim had announced his resignation from the Assembly. He said that the Sindh Assembly has become undemocratic, he is not being allowed to play a role in the House, 5 members were not allowed to enter the Assembly. I have resigned on the Assembly floor, I have the streets to protest.
He said that he was not allowed to play a role in the Sindh Assembly, the Sindh Assembly has become undemocratic from today, our 5 MPAs were not allowed to enter the assembly, PTI parliamentary leader Bilal Ghaffar, GDA parliamentary leader Hasnain Mirza, Syed Abdul Rashid of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal was barred from speaking, it was the real crime in which the democratic tradition was killed.
He said that there was no real opposition membership in the standing committee, the mike of the opposition leader was not allowed to open yesterday, all the members were suspended yesterday, 5 of our members were not allowed to come in the assembly today. I could not serve my constituency in this House, but now PTI member Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi has postponed his decision to resign.
