Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry, while making an important statement regarding oil prices in Pakistan, said that oil prices in Pakistan are still the lowest in the region. The price will also go up.
In a statement, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan’s purchasing power is better than India’s. He said that 60% of the population is engaged in agriculture with an additional income of Rs 1100 billion. He said that the income of crores of people associated with construction and industry has also increased.
He said that the wages of mechanics and laborers in the country have also tripled. Fawad Chaudhry further said that the real achievement is that the income of 75% of the population has also increased significantly. It also says that when it comes to buying oil from abroad, the price will go up, the same principle applies to other imports.
On the other hand, the journalist told Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar that he had talked about leaving the ministry due to increase in prices of petroleum products, which Asad Umar refused. In Islamabad, Planning Minister Asad Umar spoke to the media. Meanwhile, a journalist asked him if he had said that if the prices of petroleum products went up, he would not be a minister. Asad Omar replied that he had not said anything like that.
