Fawad Chaudhry took over the additional charge of Law Minister. With the approval of Prime Minister Imran Khan, notification of Fawad Chaudhry as Law Minister was issued. Fawad Chaudhry took major action as soon as he took charge of the Ministry of Law and Justice. Fawad Chaudhry directed to set up a commission on global conspiracy.
The commission will look into the change of government and the no-confidence motion through a global conspiracy. The commission will investigate the global conspiracy and compile its report. The FIA has also been directed to file a petition seeking revocation of bail of Shahbaz Sharif.
In addition, consultations are underway to register sedition cases against those involved in the conspiracy. Earlier, it was informed that the government has started consultations on setting up treason cases against leaders of united opposition and deviant members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. According to sources, the government has accused the opposition of overthrowing the government through overseas funding.
According to government sources, treason cases could be filed against opposition leaders and deviant PTI members and opposition leaders and deviant members could be arrested as soon as the cases are established. According to government sources, Asif Zardari, Fazlur Rehman, Shahbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto could be arrested in the treason case.
