Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry in a meeting with Sri Lankan High Commissioner Mohan Vikrama said that Sialkot incident has been condemned all over the country, all the accused involved in the tragedy have been arrested. Sialkot incident has not affected relations between the two countries.
Fawad Chaudhry called on Sri Lankan High Commissioner Mohan Vijay Vikrama. In the meeting, the Information Minister expressed his regret over the Sialkot incident to the Sri Lankan High Commissioner. ۔
The Sri Lankan High Commissioner said that the government is satisfied with the steps taken by Pakistan. The Sialkot incident will not affect the relations between the two countries. The other suspects will be arrested soon with the help of videos.
Hundreds of people in Sialkot had tortured to death and burnt the body of a Sri Lankan factory manager on charges of blasphemy.
