Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry termed the situation in Afghanistan as a matter of concern for Pakistan and warned of possible problems arising from the Afghan crisis, saying that if Pakistan’s advice on Afghanistan was ignored, the world Will face an ‘irreparable loss’.
In an interview to TRT World, Fawad Chaudhry said that the world should listen to Pakistan because “in the recent past, Pakistan’s advice was not heeded. If the advice of Pakistan and the Prime Minister had been listened to, the situation would have been different.” “The situation in Afghanistan is very worrying for Pakistan,” he said. “We had to deal with these issues when the Soviet Union left Afghanistan in 1988.”
Fawad Chaudhry said that while Russia, China, the United States and Pakistan have played a key role in resolving the Afghan conflict, other groups from Turkey, Pakistan, Iran and other Central Asian states also need to be active. Help solve the crisis.
The Federal Minister further said that Pakistan is once again stuck in a quagmire as US and NATO forces are withdrawing from Afghanistan. He also warned that Pakistan is already hosting 3.5 million Afghan refugees while our economy is so big. The numbers are not strong enough to care for refugees.
