Faisal Edhi, head of the Edhi Foundation, wrote a letter to the Prime Minister of the country in which he suggested a solution to the country’s oxygen shortage and said that Pakistan’s steel plant should be activated to alleviate the oxygen shortage.
According to details, Faisal Edhi, head of Edhi Foundation, sent a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan in which he said that Pakistan Steel could be used to alleviate the shortage of oxygen in hospitals.
He said that Pakistan Steel plant has the capacity to produce 520 tons of oxygen per day. The plant is equipped with French technology. It has been shut down since June 2015. Pakistan Steel has been supplying oxygen from the plant’s reserves till 2017. In a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan, Faisal Edhi said that 2 units of the plant naturally produce oxygen at no cost. Liquid oxygen is produced from Pakistan Steel Plant for hospitals. Deficiencies can be avoided.
The letter further said that Pakistan Steel Plant, which has been closed for six months, can start production after minor repairs. In the current situation, oxygen can be obtained by activating the plant. Earlier, Faisal Edhi, head of the Edhi Foundation, had offered help to the Indian government in view of the growing number of corona patients in India, for which he had written a letter to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a letter to the Indian Prime Minister, Faisal Edhi said that in view of the growing number of corona patients in India, the Edhi Foundation is ready to help the people of India in every possible way. As a neighboring country, we want to help you, for which we are ready to send you fifty Edhi Foundation ambulance staff to help you fight the global epidemic corona virus. He said that he would personally lead Faisal Edhi Foundation as the Managing Trustee of Edhi Foundation.
