The Turkish Presidential Communications Center said in a statement that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with his Algerian counterpart Abdul Majid Tabun.
According to the statement, Erdogan and Tebun discussed bilateral relations and regional issues, especially Israel’s attacks on Palestine.
“I believe in enhanced cooperation between Turkey and Algeria has increased and will continue to defend the Palestinian cause in all areas.
The two presidents also congratulated each other on the arrival of Eid al-Fitr.
Erdogan also spoke by telephone with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan about bilateral relations and recent developments in Palestine.
Referring to the inhumane and illegal actions of the Zionist regime, the Turkish President stressed the importance of cooperation between Turkey and Pakistan for deterrent actions in the Islamic world against the Zionist regime.
