ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that urgent measures are needed to avert human tragedy in Afghanistan.
A delegation led by the British Minister of Defense called on Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and discussed bilateral issues and the situation in the region.
Expressing his desire to enhance trade and investment relations between the two countries, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom would be further strengthened and deepened. ۔
Emphasizing the importance of a peaceful and stable Afghanistan, the Prime Minister said that urgent measures were needed to avert a humanitarian catastrophe in Afghanistan, taking care of 40 million Afghans should be a priority.
