NEPRA has approved to increase the price of electricity by Rs 5.27 per unit for K Electric customers.
According to the notification of increase in the price of electricity per unit, K Electric had requested an increase of Rs 5.31 paise in the April monthly fuel adjustment charges.
NEPRA has approved an increase of Rs5.27 per unit in the price of electricity for K Electric customers. The increase will apply to July bills, while Lifeline customers will be exempt from the increase.
According to NEPRA, April’s FCA will be charged 44 paise more than March. Earlier in March, FCA customers were charged Rs 4.83 for one month. The authority held a public hearing on the FCA on June 14.
