Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated with religious fervor across the country and two years later, the people of Pakistan are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr without any restrictions.
Special prayers were offered for the development, security and prosperity of Pakistan and unity of the Muslim Ummah in the Eid prayer gatherings.
This is the first time in two years that the people of Pakistan are enjoying the joys of Eid without the incidence of coronavirus.
The largest Eid prayer gathering in Karachi was held at Polo Ground (Bagh-e-Jinnah) and due to lack of Corona restrictions, a large number of people attended the Eid prayer gathering two years later.
Eid prayers were offered at more than 2,000 places in Lahore, the capital of Punjab province, for which strict security arrangements were made and the largest gathering was held at Badshahi Mosque in which the children of Islam prayed for the prosperity of the nation.
Overall, large and small Eid gatherings were held in Quetta and the largest Eid prayer gathering was held at the Metropolitan Ground.
The largest Eid-ul-Fitr gathering in the federal capital Islamabad was held at the Faisal Mosque. Strict security arrangements were made on the occasion.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated the entire Muslim Ummah including Pakistan on Eid-ul-Fitr and expressed his best wishes and goodwill for them.
In his message to the nation on Eid, the Prime Minister said that after the blessed hours of Ramadan, full of blessings and blessings, Allah Almighty has bestowed the reward of Eid which is a manifestation of the immense bounties of God Almighty.
He said that this holy month of patience, self-sacrifice and sacrifice, which has given us a sense of suffering of others, demands that while celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr, we should bring together all the poor and needy people and families around us. Take special care, this is the true spirit of this day and the message of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
The Prime Minister has ordered not to carry out load shedding for three days of Eid-ul-Fitr so that the people of the country can celebrate the joys of Eid in full.
The Prime Minister said that on this day of happiness, we also remember our subjugated Muslim brothers and sisters of Palestine and Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and pray to Allah Almighty to deliver them from oppression and tyranny and exalt them with the blessing of freedom.
“We also extend our best wishes to our Afghan people and pray for lasting peace, development and prosperity in Afghanistan,” he said.
On the other hand, President Dr. Arif Alvi while congratulating the entire nation on Eid-ul-Fitr said that this day is a day of sharing happiness and self-sacrifice for the deprived section of our society.
He said that Eid-ul-Fitr is a day of forgiveness, mercy and forgiveness from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala as well as sharing happiness and self-sacrifice for the deprived sections of our society.
