The NCOC has issued a notification to close educational institutions in 24 sensitive districts across the country for another week to curb the spread of the corona virus.
According to reports, all of Corona’s restrictions will apply to 24 sensitive districts across the country until September 15. The decision to extend the decision was made in view of the pressure on the health system due to the Corona situation.
Indoor and outdoor dining gatherings will be banned in these districts, intercity transport will be closed, sports and recreational activities will be banned,
The NCOC said in its tweet that the NPI, which was implemented in 24 high-disease districts of Punjab, KP and ICT till September 12, has been extended till September 15, which was reviewed on September 15. Will go
In other words, the schools in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which opened on September 12 will not open on this date but the review meeting on September 15 will decide in this regard when the schools in these provinces will also open.
Earlier, the Ministry of Education had sent three proposals to the NCOC regarding educational institutions in view of the spread of Corona virus.
The first proposal called for the opening of educational institutions with half the number of students as before. The second proposal was to close educational institutions for three days and reopen them for three days, while the third proposal was to close all educational institutions for one more week.
On the other hand, the All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association has strongly reacted to the decision to close educational institutions further. Malik Abrar Hussain, president of the association, has said that despite the vaccination of teachers, there is no justification for keeping the educational institutions closed further. Election activities are on the rise in cantonment areas across the country.
Malik Abrar Hussain further said that it is excessive to keep only educational institutions closed by opening other departments. The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief of Army Staff should take notice.
