Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashdeen while expressing hope that dengue cases would be brought under control by next week said that dengue cases have increased in the province and hoped that they would be brought under control by next week.
According to details, provincial health minister Yasmeen Rashid said that Punjab is in the forefront compared to other provinces and efforts will be made to administer both doses of vaccine by the end of the year. Yasmeen Rashid said that God willing, the situation should remain the same because lockdown causes damage.
He said that dengue cases have increased and hopefully they will be controlled by next week. There is space in hospitals and daily reports are taken. There are currently 27,000 registered thalassemia patients in Punjab. Each hospital has 10 beds for thalassemia patients.
Yasmeen Rashid said that after December 31, health cards will be available to all, no card will expire, health card will be linked to ID card, our contract will be signed by the 15th. The issuance of the card will start 6 weeks after the day the contract is signed.
