Karachi: Due to the ongoing political crisis in the country, the dollar in the interbank market increased by more than one rupee and crossed the new highest level of 186 in history.
During the trading session, the dollar rose by 1.07 points to a new high of Rs 186.30. The dollar has appreciated by Rs 8.59 since March 1.

Yesterday, the dollar rose further by Rs 1.14 to Rs 185.23 in the interbank market and by Rs 1 to Rs 186.50 in the open currency market.
