In the last 24 hours, 4 more deaths have been reported from dengue in Punjab province. The number of deaths from dengue in Punjab has reached 137. However, due to the drop in temperature in the federal capital Islamabad, there has been a significant decrease in dengue cases.
According to details, dengue cases are declining in the federal capital Islamabad due to falling temperature. During the last 24 hours, 8 dengue cases were reported. DHO Islamabad said that in 24 hours 6 dengue cases were reported in rural areas and 2 in urban areas. So far this season 4,596 dengue cases have been reported.
pIt may be recalled that according to DHO, pdeaths have been reported from dengue so far during the current season. The death toll has risen to 137.
It may be mentioned that according to the preported in Punjab in the last 24 hours out of which 82 were reported from Lahore alone. Health Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch said that 24,744 cases of dengue have been reported in Punjab so far this year.p
