The NCOC has expressed concern over the spread of corona in the country and hinted at major restrictions . A decision will also be taken regarding the education department.
According to the details, a special meeting of the NCOC was held due to the fifth wave of Corona. The NCOC has also directed the provinces to expedite coronary vaccination.
In a special meeting chaired by Asad Umar, the NCOC has banned the provision of food during air travel from January 17, while also banning the provision of food on public transport, the NCOC directed that civil aviation air travel Implement SOPs during and at the airport.
The NCOC in its order said that the provinces should strictly implement SOPs in the transport sector and ensure strict implementation of SOPs in the education sector, restaurants and wedding halls. He reiterated his commitment to work with the Sindh government on the spread of the epidemic and directed the provinces to conduct surveys on oxygen stocks.
The meeting also considered some restrictions in urban areas in view of the Corona epidemic. In addition, the NCOC has convened a meeting of provincial education ministers on January 17 to decide on new restrictions on the education sector. ۔
