In the last 24 hours, 49,658 tests were carried out in the country to diagnose corona virus, out of which 1572 people were confirmed to be corona virus, positive case rate has exceeded from 3%.
According to a statement issued by the National Command and Operations Center, 49,658 tests were carried out in the country during the last 24 hours to diagnose corona, of which 1572 were confirmed to be corona virus. The rate of positive cases was recorded at 3.16% which is the highest level in 3 months.
According to the NCOC, the number of active cases of corona in the country is 16432. 750 patients of corona are being treated in 640 hospitals of the country out of which 67 patients are on ventilator. The highest number of deaths occurred in Punjab where 13,079 people lost their lives while 7,681 people lost their lives in Sindh, 5,942 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 967 in Islamabad, 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 367 in Balochistan and 747 in Azad Kashmir.
The number of cases of Corona in Sindh is 486,740, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 181,715, in Punjab 447,530, in Islamabad 19,283, in Balochistan 33,658, in Azad Kashmir 34,702 and Gilgit-Baltistan has become 10,430.
