Lahore:
A big surprise could be found in Punjab before the no-confidence motion. A private TV report claimed that the government was consulting on dissolving the Punjab Assembly.
The government is already in trouble due to the anger of Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan group.
The final decision regarding the dissolution of the Assembly will be taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan. The party was also consulted.
Sources in the PML-Q said that the government delegation may also make an offer to the PML-Q leadership in the message of the Prime Minister.
A meeting was held between the government delegation and the PML-Q leadership today. According to the report, the meeting of the government delegation with the PML-Q could prove fruitful. The majority in the party is of the opinion that Imran Khan should remain an ally. Federal ministers Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Pervez Khattak conveyed the important message of PM to PML-Q. There may be an offer from the Chief Minister but all the negotiating powers have been given to Pervez Elahi by the PML-Q.
In addition, Speaker Punjab Assembly and PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi while talking to reporters said that the meetings do not make any difference to the no-confidence motion. He said that the ongoing political drama in the country is not a drop scene yet. It will happen. The characters of the play will change. He further said that those who bring Islam in politics have no future, our future is bright by the grace of Allah, our feet are clean and connected with religion.
Pervez Elahi, in reply to a question, said that the cure for the illness of those who are outside sons has not come yet, the politics of meetings does not make any difference to the no-confidence motion. There are also two thoughts, Chaudhry Shujaat and his sons have a soft spot for PML-N while Pervez Elahi and Monis Elahi prefer to walk with PTI.
