After the end of Imran Khan’s long march, the situation in the twin cities began to return to normal.
PTI workers left Islamabad Blue Area in convoys. Lack of transport caused problems for returning workers.
The administration and police started removing obstacles to open Murree Road and other highways to traffic. Containers were removed from Chandni Chowk on Murree Road and the highway was opened while business centers also started opening.
In the Islamabad Blue Area, PTI workers severely damaged property and set it on fire during the clashes, burning dozens of trees and plants and burning telephone wires.
D-Chowk looks like a garbage can. Paper, juice cans, tree branches and leaves are scattered everywhere. Food waste is scattered.
There are piles of dirt everywhere on the main highway. Other departments, including the CDA, have begun rehabilitation work.
