Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has written a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan in which he rejected the proposal for transfer of senior government officials. Rejects proposal for transfer of 4 PAS officers from the province Government transfers have violated the law.

In the letter, the Sindh Chief Minister also rejected the proposal to transfer 20 police officers from Sindh and said that the transfer of government officers violated the law and the Prime Minister did not consult the Sindh Chief Minister for the transfer.
The letter said that the number of government officers in Sindh is already low, 22 police officers of 20th grade are working in Sindh, the number of police officers of 20th grade should be 26. Sindh Chief Minister said that 20 officers of Pakistan Administrative Services are deployed in Sindh, the province is facing shortage of 47 PAS officers. He has repeatedly requested the federation for the appointment of officers.
According to the letter, the Sindh government also went to court on the issue. The AG assured the appointment of officers to fill the vacancies but instead of appointing officers in Sindh, more officers were transferred.
