In a meeting with President Arif Ali, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong said that China will provide more vaccines to Pakistan in large quantities.
According to the report, a statement issued from the Presidency said that Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong in a meeting with President Arif Ali informed him that China would provide 6 million doses of vaccine this week and 10 more by the end of this year. Crores of food will be provided.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of Pakistan and China to further enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields for the mutual benefit of the two countries. The two sides stressed the need for joint efforts for the promotion of peace and prosperity and development of the region. The need for enhanced cooperation in the field of information technology was also stressed during the meeting.
On the occasion, President Dr. Arif Alvi said that Pakistan and China have excellent relations and the Strategic Cooperative Partnership between the two countries will take the bilateral relations to new heights. Friends have stood by each other in good times and bad.
