ISLAMABAD: A letter written by the President to the Chief Justice has come to light. Arif Alvi has said that the Chief Justice himself should head the commission of inquiry against foreign conspiracy.
According to Express News, President Dr. Arif Alvi had written a letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to set up a Judicial Commission to investigate the foreign conspiracy to overthrow the government, the text of which has come to light.
In his letter, the President wrote that the Judicial Commission for Investigation and Hearing of Non-Conspiracy should be headed by the Chief Justice himself. We need to save the country from political and economic crisis and prevent the situation from deteriorating further.
Dr. Arif Alvi has written that a serious political crisis is unfolding in the country, in the context of recent events, the people of Pakistan are creating huge political divisions, all institutions have a duty to save the country from further damage and deterioration. Do your best, unfortunately the comments are being presented out of context which is causing misunderstandings.
The President has written that opportunities are being lost, confusion is spreading, economy is also in crisis, Supreme Court has in the past formed judicial commissions on issues of national security, integrity, sovereignty and public interest, Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk said. The Judicial Commission headed by the BJP has investigated allegations of rigging in the 2013 elections.
The President wrote that a Judicial Commission has also been set up to look into the Memogate case. There is an active Judicial Commission for Missing Persons headed by Supreme Court judges and now Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also set up a commission. Expressed desire
In the letter, Arif Alvi said that the nation respects the Supreme Court and hopes to meet its expectations. The people of Pakistan deserve clarification on the issue of national importance.
President Dr. Arif Alawi further wrote that there are numerous instances in the history of the world of conspiracies to change the government. The commission should conduct a thorough investigation into the alleged conspiracy.
