The Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Mohammad Sadegh Sanjarani, on behalf of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, left for the Islamic Republic of Iran a moment ago to attend the inauguration ceremony of Hojjat al-Islam and Muslims “Sayyid Ibrahim Ra’isi”.
According to IRNA, Sanjarani, at the head of a parliamentary delegation representing Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, left Islamabad for our country on Wednesday morning on a private plane.
The Pakistani delegation is scheduled to enter the holy city of Mashhad in the first phase, where the Speaker of the Pakistani Senate and members of the accompanying delegation will visit the royal court of Imam Reza (as).
The Speaker of the Senate of Pakistan left for Iran to attend the inauguration of the President
Sanjarani then travels to Tehran on behalf of the country’s prime minister to attend the inauguration of Hojjatoleslam Ra’isi.
During his stay in Tehran, Sanjarani is scheduled to meet with the new president of Iran and also with the speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
The Speaker of the Senate of Pakistan last week during his visit to the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad called his visit to our country important and stressed that his visit to Iran is a big step towards strengthening friendly relations between the two countries.
The inauguration ceremony of Hojjatoleslam and Muslims, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will be held on Thursday in the presence of international and domestic officials and personalities in the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
