Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff General Nadeem Raza paid an official visit to Oman where he also held important meetings with senior military officials. The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation, including security, counter-terrorism and Afghanistan.
According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff General Nadeem Raza paid an official visit to Oman. Presented, General Nadeem Raza also met with senior military officials of Oman, including Deputy Prime Minister of Oman Syed Shahab bin Tariq.
According to ISPR, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation, including security, counter-terrorism and Afghanistan, and discussed in detail measures to expand the scope of military engagements between the two countries. Reiterated to continue the relationship.
On the occasion, General Nadeem Raza said that Pakistan and Oman are brotherly Islamic countries which are engaged in expanding defense ties and are taking steps to promote peace and stability in the region. Appreciating Pakistan’s role in enhancing the capabilities of the Armed Forces, acknowledging Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war on terror.
