Riyadh:
There is an epidemic of corona virus all over the world. Due to the lockdown in Saudi Arabia last year, the Hajj was restricted to residents of the kingdom. As a result, the hopes of millions of Pakistani pilgrims waiting for the blessings of Hajj were dashed. This time it was heard that people living outside Saudi Arabia would also be allowed to come to Saudi Arabia for Hajj.
However, their number will be limited. However, this news has not been proved true. A Twitter statement issued by the two holy shrines said, “Due to the situation of corona virus around the world and the emergence of new strains of the virus, it has been decided that this time the Hajj of 1442 AH.” It will be limited to locals and foreigners residing in Saudi Arabia, numbering no more than 60,000.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj, a Hajj policy has been announced for this year, according to which, just like last year, this year too, only people residing in Saudi Arabia, including locals and immigrants, will be able to perform Hajj. Are In this way, the millions of people in Pakistan who had hoped for Hajj Baitullah this time will also face disappointment.
He hoped that this time he too would be among the lucky ones to receive the blessings of Hajj. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj has said that only 60,000 people will be allowed to perform the Hajj this time, including those living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including locals and foreigners. No one outside the kingdom will be allowed to come to Saudi Arabia for Hajj. It should be noted that a few days ago, the Saudi Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Majid Al-Qasbi said that due to the emergence of different types of corona virus around the world, stopping its spread and slow vaccination process in many countries Hajj policy and procedure could not be clarified.
However, now that the time for the arrival of Hajj has been reduced, the procedure for Hajj will be announced by the Minister of Health and the Minister of Hajj and Umrah in the next few days. This will also eliminate Gomgo’s condition. The two ministries will take a decision based on the situation caused by the corona virus. He further added that the Saudi government is making every effort to ensure that the Hajj is performed in such a way that the spread of the virus in Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries is not possible, so much thought is being given to this.
