Islamabad: The price of petrol and diesel has been increased by Rs 35, 35 per liter across the country with immediate effect.
Federal Minister Ishaq Dar said in a press conference that due to the agreement with the IMF, the prices of petroleum products are being increased.

The price of petrol has been increased to Rs 249.89, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased to Rs 262.80, the price of kerosene has been increased to Rs 189.83, while the price of light diesel oil has been increased to Rs 187 per litre.

Federal Minister Khurana said that the price of petroleum products was speculated to increase by more than 50 rupees, but the government has tried to shift the minimum burden on the public.
Ministry of Finance notification issued
The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification to increase the prices of petroleum products for the next fifteen days, according to which the new prices have been applied across the country from 11 am.
According to the notification, with an increase of 35 rupees, the new price of petrol is 249 rupees 80 paise per liter while the new price of diesel is 262 rupees 80 paise per liter.
Similarly, the new price of kerosene has increased by Rs 18 to Rs 189 83 paise, while the new price of light diesel has reached Rs 187 per liter with an increase of Rs 18.
