According to details, Chief Minister Jam Kamal was forced to take a big decision after internal differences within the ruling party of Balochistan intensified. The Chief Minister has announced his resignation from the leadership of the ruling Balochistan Awami Party.
Many important party officials have also resigned before Jam Kamal. The Balochistan Chief Minister said that he was proud to be the first President of BAP and held the post for three years. After resigning from the party presidency, Jam Kamal has requested the party’s general secretary to hold party elections soon.
Earlier on Friday, a meeting of divisional organizers of Balochistan Awami Party was held at the residence of Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali, Chief Organizer of Balochistan Awami Party. Khan, Kalat Division Organizer Sardar Noor Ahmad Bangalzai, Zhob Division Organizer Dr. Nawaz Khan Nasir, Rukshan Division Organizer Mir Ejaz Sanjrani, Makran Division Organizer Mir Abdul Rauf Rind, Organizing Secretary Malik Khudabakhsh Lango, Party Information Secretary Chaudhry Shabbir, Liaison Secretary Fateh Jamali, Mir Zubair Randsmeet and others participated.
According to BAP sources, during the meeting, the party leaders conveyed their concerns and grievances to Mir Jan Mohammad Jamali. However, all the divisional organizers refused to meet the Chief Minister and in protest handed over their resignation to the chief organizer Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali and gave him the power to decide.
