Peshawar: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali has appointed Muhammad Azam Khan as caretaker chief minister of the province.
The announcement of the appointment of Mohammad Azam Khan as the caretaker chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been issued. Earlier, the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa signed the announcement of the appointment of Azam Khan as the caretaker chief minister this morning.

According to the sources, the swearing-in ceremony of the Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Azam Khan will be held today, in which he will take oath from Governor Haji Ghulam Ali.
It should be noted that the caretaker Chief Minister was appointed by Chief Minister Mehmood Khan and Opposition Leader Akram Khan Durrani by consensus. Azam Khan has been a senior bureaucrat and former chief secretary of the province. He belongs to Charsadda.
