Islamabad: During the hearing on the petition of the deceased’s mother against not providing the post-mortem report of Arshad Sharif, the court has remarked that the trial of Arshad Sharif’s murder case can also be held in Pakistan.
The application was heard against the late Arshad Sharif’s mother against not providing the post-mortem report. On this occasion, the Deputy Attorney General told the court that the post-mortem report has been provided to Arshad Sharif’s mother.
The application was heard by Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Aamir Farooq, while lawyer Barrister Shoaib Razak appeared before the court on behalf of Arshad Sharif’s mother and told that the post-mortem report has been given to Arshad Sharif’s mother on Sunday. The Chief Justice inquired what is happening here regarding the case. Lawyer Barrister Shoaib Razak replied that nothing is happening here.
The lawyer told the court that an application of ours is also pending for the formation of a judicial commission. An FIR can also be filed in Pakistan.
The court remarked that the trial can also be held in Pakistan. Chief Justice Amir Farooq said that the trial of Imran Farooq’s murder case was also held in Pakistan.
Later, the Islamabad High Court disposed of the petition regarding non-provision of the report.
