Peshawar: It has been decided to talk to Afghanistan against terrorism in the Apex Committee meeting held at the Governor House Peshawar under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister.
In this regard, sources said that the participants in the Apex Committee meeting expressed their agreement to fight terrorism together, while the decisions taken in the meeting will be presented in the All Party Conference (APC) on February 7.
Regarding the meeting of the Apex Committee which lasted for 7 hours, it was informed that the final decisions will be made in the APC. Sources said that talks will be held with Afghanistan and other neighboring countries to end terrorism.
The sources further said that in the meeting of the Apex Committee, the participants agreed on joint struggle for peace restoration in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Apart from this, Army Chief and DGISI gave a briefing regarding peace and order in the meeting.
The meeting was attended by ministers, allied political leaders, government officials and security officials.
