The last anti-polio campaign of this year in Sindh will start from today. The campaign will be inaugurated by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. The campaign will continue till December 19. More than 9 million children will be vaccinated in the campaign Will also be given vitamin A drops.

It is to be noted that anti-polio campaign officials have said that children will also be given vitamin A drops and corona vaccine will also be given to people above 12 years of age in certain areas.
It may be recalled that last month, a meeting of the Task Force on Polio Eradication chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan approved the National Emergency Action Plan 23-2022. It should be noted that considerable efforts are being made in Pakistan regarding polio. The Prime Minister thanked the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and others for their support in eradicating polio.
