The fifth wave of corona virus is spreading across the country. The number of confirmed cases of corona virus in Pakistan has reached 1,477,573. The rate of positive cases in the country was recorded at 6.2% during 24 hours.
The number of confirmed cases of Corona in Pakistan has reached 1.477 million. According to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center, 3,498 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours: 493,478 in Punjab, 555,920 in Sindh, 275,820 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 277,820 in Balochistan. 34,986 cases were reported in Gilgit-Baltistan, 11,074 in Islamabad, 132,711 in Islamabad and 41,584 in Azad Kashmir.
The National Command and Operations Center said that 1,663 Corona patients are undergoing intensive care in the country, while the total number of Corona-affected people across the country has reached 1,442,263. Corona in Pakistan killed 39 people in one day, bringing the death toll from the virus to 29,687.
13,322 patients died in Punjab, 7,958 in Sindh, 6,087 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 995 in Islamabad, 370 in Balochistan, 189 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 766 in Azad Kashmir. On the other hand, in view of the increasing cases of Corona virus, educational institutions have been closed in most of the cities of the country in order to prevent further spread of the global epidemic Corona virus.
