ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways and Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafique has announced a 10% reduction in the fares of economy class of railways and domestic flights of PIA.
In a video message, Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq said that after the reduction in the prices of petroleum products, a 10 percent discount will be given in the fares of both the economy class of Pakistan Railways and the domestic flights of PIA. The reduction in fares will be applicable from 12 pm tonight.
Saad Rafiq added that the reduction in fares will be applied for the next 30 days from July 17. The notification of the reduction in fares will be issued tomorrow.
94% passengers in Pakistan Railways and more than 90% passengers in PIA travel in economy class.
