Jahangir Tareen, Aleem Khan and several members of the Hum Khayal group who became angry with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) met Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and expressed full confidence in him.
According to media reports, more than 130 members of the Punjab Assembly met the Chief Minister of Punjab in three days. While women and minority parliamentarians also arrived to meet Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, the MLAs expressed confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
Talking on the occasion, the Punjab Chief Minister said that the members of the Assembly are my brothers, friends and allies. They are convinced of the principles of tolerance and respect in politics. Yes, they can all be taken away.
On the other hand, in the ongoing maneuver to make the no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan a success, the opposition has agreed to give PML-Q the chief ministership of Punjab. According to a report, the opposition parties have also agreed to give the chief ministership of Punjab to the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) to complete their vote on the no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan. After the no-confidence motion, Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi will be made the Chief Minister of Punjab.
