Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said that in the last meeting of the NCOC held on April 18, it was decided that the series of examinations would be continued but since then the disease has been on the rise till April 27. Has increased.

Shafqat Mahmood said that from today till June 15 there will be no examination and the examinations of class IX to XII which were supposed to start at the end of May have been further postponed and there will be no examination till June 15.
“We will continue to review the situation and in the middle or third week of May, after reviewing the disease, it will be decided whether to take these tests further or start them,” he said.
He said that if the examinations are held after June 15, they could be extended from July to August.
He said that O level exams have also been canceled which will now be in October-November cycle and similarly AS exams will now be in October-November.
The Federal Minister for Education said that for the children who want to go to the universities of Pakistan, we will ensure that the admissions continue till January so that the children do not have any problem in getting admission and going to the university.
He said that despite doing all this, there is a section of children who, due to various compulsions, if they do not take the exam now, then their year is wasted. Shafqat Mehmood said that wherever the examinations will be held, there will be no more than 50 children and law enforcement agencies will be deployed outside it so that the assembly does not gather.

The Education Minister said that examinations are very important for children as the final result of study and hard work is examination and all the ministers decided that there is no solution without examination.
Earlier, Dr Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health, said that 85,000 AO level children had to be tested on different days, out of which 21,000 would be reduced.
