Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that deviant members will be disqualified for life and new members are being nominated for reserved seats. In his tweet, Fawad Chaudhry said that notices have been issued to deviant members of PTI and seven days. He has been asked to clarify his position.
Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry further said that after one week, the process of declaring the seats of deviant members vacant would take place and all the members would be disqualified for life.
Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that new members are also being nominated for reserved seats.
It should be noted that more than 20 members of PTI National Assembly have defected due to various reasons. Many of these members are presently present in Sindh House Islamabad. Dissident members include members of the National Assembly besides elected members nominated for reserved seats for women and minorities. Two female members of PTI and one minority member. Has seceded from the government.
Yesterday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had issued show cause notices to 14 deviant members of the Assembly.
In the show cause notice, the deviant MLAs were directed to appear before the party chairman Imran Khan within seven days and give a clear explanation. Otherwise, action will be taken against them.
