ISLAMABAD: A special plane carrying a dose of Corona vaccine from China has reached Islamabad. Special PIA planes are being used to expedite the delivery of the vaccine. More planes will arrive in Pakistan today.
According to the details, a special PIA plane arrived in Islamabad carrying Corona vaccine. PK6852 landed at Islamabad from Beijing carrying Corona vaccine. More than 300,000 vaccines have been brought to Pakistan by plane.
3 Boeing 777 planes are carrying 1 million vaccines, the second plane will arrive at 12 noon and the third will arrive tonight at 12 noon.
Sources said that Pakistan has bought Corona vaccine from Chinese company Saino Farm. So far, 8 consignments of Corona vaccine have arrived in Pakistan from China, in which 3560,000 doses of Corona vaccine have arrived. Saino is importing Saino Farm vaccine. Earlier on April 24, a consignment of Corona vaccine purchased from China had reached Pakistan.
Regarding corona vaccine, Dr. Faisal had said that corona vaccine is being used in a transparent manner, it is absolutely wrong that the government is relying on donated vaccines, Pakistan has bought 3 million vaccine doses since March 30 and 30 million corona vaccine doses. The deal was struck while 1.7 million doses of the vaccine were donated by China.
