RAWALPINDI: A Corps Commander Conference was held under the chairmanship of Army Chief in which concern was expressed over Indian missile falling inside Pakistani territory.
According to ISPR, the 248th Commander Conference was held at GHQ (General Headquarters) under the chairmanship of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa in which the security situation in the country and border situation was discussed.
According to ISPR, the meeting expressed satisfaction over the professionalism and readiness of Pakistan Army while expressing concern over the incident of missile being fired by India into Pakistan. The corps commanders vowed to take all necessary steps to ensure the security of the country.
The Chief of Army Staff appreciated the operational readiness of the formations and the ongoing counter-terrorism operations and directed that security arrangements be ensured for the peaceful conduct of the OIC Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Pakistan Day Parade.
