Earthquakes of 6.8 magnitude have been felt in different areas of Pakistan.
Earthquake tremors were felt in many cities of Islamabad, KP and Punjab due to which fear and panic spread among the people, but no loss of life was reported. Apart from this, earthquake tremors were also felt in Uzbekistan, China, India, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.

According to the American Geological Survey, the magnitude of the earthquake in Tajikistan was recorded at 6.8 on the Richter scale while the depth was 20 kilometers underground. The epicenter of the earthquake is 47 kilometers away from Alicher, Tajikistan.
