CTD arrested 5 terrorists during intelligence based operation. The accused include Inamul Haque, Maskeenullah, Wahid Khan, Sher Naqib, Shah Wali.
According to the authorities, the terrorists belong to the outlawed TTP. Explosive materials, weapons, equipment for making suicide vests were recovered from the possession of the terrorists.
After registering four cases against the accused, they were shifted to an unknown location for investigation.
CTD conducted 526 combing operations during one week under the direction of IG Punjab, in which 130 suspects were detained, 21 thousand 227 people were interrogated.
